Job Description

Community Memorial Hospital is hiring for a Call Center Representative that will be the liaison between our health centers and patients. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving patient issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping patient satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Identify patients needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
  • Answer call for high volume health centers, route calls to triage nurse/providers
  • Fax health records
  • Mail new patient information packets
  • Schedule appointments
  • Initiate prescription renewals

Skills

  • Previous experience in a customer support role
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • High school degree
