Dr. Toole is a board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon who completed fellowship training in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. Dr. Toole is a native of Central New York. He is a graduate of SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery there as well. After that, he completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University at Buffalo.

Dr. Toole's Achievements:

  • Awards: SUNY Upstate David G. Murray, MD, Award for Excellence in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Experience: Professional athlete sports medicine provider during fellowship year, learning under experienced athletic providers as one of the team physicians working with the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres.
  • Leadership/Service: Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society, Resident Member; Syracuse Rescue Mission; SUNY Upstate Orthopedic Surgery Interest Group, Executive Board Member.

Dr. Toole is an avid outdoorsman who loves hunting, fishing, and hiking (he's an Adirondack 46er!) when not in the operating room or seeing patients.  He's excited to be back in the area and looks forward to giving back to the community that has given so much to him.
