Community Memorial is undergoing an exciting, transformational project – the renovation and expansion of over half the organization, promoting quality patient care and safety. Improving efficiencies and cost savings, and increasing access to care across the Community Memorial system.
Phase I: Completed Projects Through December 2021

- Provides increased patient capacity and treatment space
- Separate entrance and registration space for ER patients ensures patient safety
- Negative-pressure treatment space increased – a critical need in treating COVID positive patients.

- More comfortable atmosphere for patient recovery

The Radiology Department expansion is nearing completion. These advancements in technology and relocation of vital services directly adjacent to the Emergency Room will provide more efficient care for our patients, and we can’t wait to showcase the future of medical imaging right here in Hamilton.
