Jordan Hobaica has been with Hamilton Orthopedic Spine & Sports Medicine since 2020. He grew up in Clinton, NY and attended Clinton High School before graduating from Northwood School in Lake Placid, NY. He then attended Utica College and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2014 with a B.S. in Biology. While at Utica College, Jordan was a four-year member of the NCAA Division 3 Men’s Ice Hockey Team; captaining the team during his senior year. Jordan went on to receive his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Le Moyne College in 2020.
Jordan currently resides in Clinton, NY. He enjoys Ice Hockey, Baseball, Golf, Exercising, Water-skiing and Boating on the St. Lawrence River.

Russell LaFrance, MD
Dr. Russell LaFrance is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who completed his fellowship training and has a subspecialty in Sports Medicine. He has office locations in both Hamilton and New Hartford and performs surgeries predominately on the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee. His practice has a special focus on arthroscopy of the hip, shoulder, and knee with advanced reconstruction and minimally invasive techniques. He specializes in hip preservation and techniques using advanced arthroscopic hip surgery. He also performs arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs and ACL reconstruction.
Dr. LaFrance has been the team physician for Utica College since 2013. He is also the team physician for SUNY Polytechnic Institute and Utica City FC.
Dr. LaFrance has given numerous lectures and instructed courses around the country. Currently, he has clinical research interests that focus on the outcome of hip arthroscopic surgery, the effect of platelet rich plasma in hip arthroscopy, and the outcome of rotator cuff surgery.
Dr. LaFrance is originally from the Central New York area and was a graduate of Groton High School in Groton, NY. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and attended medical school at the University of Buffalo. He completed his residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center and completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at the world renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic. As a fellow, he served as an assistant team physician for the Lakers, Dodgers, Angels, Kings, Might Ducks, LA Sparks, Fullerton College and West LA College.
Dr. LaFrance is an active member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, Association of North America, and American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.

Rudolph Buckley, MD
Dr. Buckley specializes in Spine Surgery and is a graduate of Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia where he earned his MD in 1992. Buckley was 2nd in his Medical School class and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Later, he attended Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana where he completed an internship in 1993 and his Orthopaedic residency in 1997. After that, he was accepted for a fellowship in Spinal Reconstruction in Baltimore under the renowned Dr. Paul McAfee, Professor of Spine Surgery at Johns Hopkins University. Since then, Dr. Buckley has been on the forefront of bringing new technological advances to the Central New York area. He has been a party of National FDA studies for lumbar and cervical artificial disc replacements, nucleus pulposus replacement, kyphoplasty procedure for vertebral spinal fractures, and many others. He has also been involved with several leading manufacturers in designing surgical instruments and implants that are now in use nationwide.
Dr. Buckley was born in London, England and moved to Long Island, New York at the age of 12. He is an avid soccer fan and was named All-Area, All-Conference and All-Ohio when he played in University.
When Dr. Buckley is not in the operating room or seeing patients, he enjoys spending time relaxing watching soccer, riding bicycles and working on new technology for the advancement of spine surgery.
